We're Baaaaacccckkkkkk!

Whew. 

We've been home for a few days now, and already I feel like this past week has been a blur of unpacking, laundry, catching up, preparing for camp, settling in to daily life again....etc. Is it really already Thursday? My husband actually called my from work, the day after we got back, and was trying to plan a trip to California for the whole family... just a few short weeks from now. I'm a bit ashamed to say that I responded to him the same way I respond to baby Gray when he does something totally ridiculous. #areyoucrazyyouhavegottobekiddingme. 

No thank you... I think this family will be staying put for a while*. 

It's not that we didn't have an amazing time on our trip, it's more "THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME." Seriously. This is my new mantra. Paradise? Yeah, it's awesome.... until you come HOME. The LM keeps asking me if we are ever going to go away on vacation again. When I asked why, he said, "you are so happy to be back, what if you don't want to leave?" I assured him that we will again leave home... just as soon as I finish reveling in all that is my house, friends, town, state... you get the idea.

Oh, and the minute our plane hit the runway I immediately remembered that baby Gray's birthday was THIS coming Monday. Oops! I now have three days to put together a little, family, Hungry Little Caterpillar themed party. Do you all have any ideas? Want to come ;)

So that's that. We are home, we are healthy, we are about to celebrate the sweetest little guy's 1st birthday.... life is good. 

I'm hoping soon to be back here, giving this little blog the attention it deserves.
