It's official, we are moving to Costa Rica!!!!

No, not really, but I have to say, over the last four weeks the though crossed our mind more than once!  What began as a somewhat dreaded trip (after having just been there in March) turned in to the best trip we have ever had as a family, and it was with a very heavy heart that we packed our bags, and returned home on Friday.

Since we've been back, life has been a bit of a whirlwind.  The morning after our return, we celebrated Gray's 3rd birthday (I can't even believe he is 3!!!!) and I packed the LM for an early flight to his grandparents house where he will be staying the next 2 weeks!  Today, Gray and I are heading down to the Cape to finally be reunited with my best girls, and then Friday I am heading to NYC for the weekend for some wedding dress shopping/ general debauchery with my sister and SIL.  No, I'm not complaining one bit!

I know, this blog has become seriously neglected, and I will be back, but until then, here is a little glimpse of what we can say with complete honesty, was the time of our lives!

A local who decided to take a swim in our pool.

A date night to remember.

The most incredible skate park, 50 yards from our house!

I hope you all are having a wonderful Summer. so far! I'm not even going to acknowledge that it's almost August!!!!! #summerforever

I'll be back (for real) next week!

It's hard to believe it, but we have less than two weeks left of our little sabbatical from life!  Despite being on the receiving end of the nastiest cold (ever!!!) from Gray, we are all still hanging in there and managing to have a great time in the process.  Although, I have to admit, there is a lot of this going on  as well! (made me laugh out loud!)  Today the surf was honking (like 20 feet) so we went on a little adventure, and stumbled upon this incredible blowhole.  The boys and I must have spent an hour, watching as the waves rolled in, one after another, sending huge bursts of water in to the air.    They really couldn't get enough!

Later today there is a big party at the skate park around the corner, and tomorrow my Dad is coming down to surprise the boys. What can I say, life is good!

Pura Vida as they say down here!

For those of you who celebrate, I wish you a happy and safe 4th of July!
