Individually, they are both adorable (yes, this is coming from their mother who thinks the sun shines out their little butts.)
But together?
I get a lot of this...

I have a newfound respect for all of you photographers out there. Without you, I have a feeling my Christmas card would end up looking something like this....
(How'd that baby move so fast in the background???)
Do any of you have any tips on how to get a good picture of two kids that refuse to smile on cue, and/or sit still? I have a feeling the answer is take A LOT of pictures... there's got to be a keeper in there somewhere, right????
To think, our parents used to do this with film. Whoever was developing all those pictures must have been laughing all the way to the bank!

They're so cute!! I actually am family photographer, and if you want to do a photo and get them both looking at you, I recommend getting a balloon and tying it to the belt loop on the back of your jeans. Then the balloon is above your head and they'll look at it long enough for you to get at least 4 or 5 shots! Sounds ridiculous, I know, but it works. :)

I have the same problem with my two, all I can say is thank goodness the days of film are over and I can snap away til I get the perfect shot (it may take 50 but we get there in the end!!)
It gets a little easier with age, but I accept it is nigh on impossible to achieve perfect expressions when there is more than one person in a shot, having had to make composites at work on numerous occasions!!
