And So It Begins...

Yesterday, my Little Man and I talked all day about going outside after his nap to make a snowman in the freshly fallen snow. So much so that my Sister came over early so she could watch Baby Gray, keeping him warm during the big event.

As luck would have it, as soon as he woke up he heard that the neighborhood kids were next door watching a movie...

Can you guess what happened next?

I'm telling you, that kid couldn't get away from our house (err his mom) fast enough.

"What about the snow," I asked?
"Nah, later," was his response.

The following ten thoughts when through my head:

  1. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
  2. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
  3. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
  4. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
  5. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
  6. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
  7. I thought I had ten more years before this happened!!!!!!
  8. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
  9. I'm so proud of my little independent boy.
  10. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Thank goodness for this little guy who still wants nothing more than to (eat) and cuddle with his mommy... for now!

P.S. It's somebody's UNbirthday today! That's right... baby gray is ALREADY 6 months old! Can you believe it? I sure can't. I guess that means I only have four more years until I'll be left building snowmen by myself. Dear time.... can't you please stand still.

P.P.S. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

I'm jealous you have a 4 1/2 year old that takes a nap!

The kid spins like a top until he passes out and then spins some more. I can't imagine the puddle he would be in at the end of the day of he didn't!
