Those are all such adorable things! Especially the saltwater sandals...love those. YM, any tips on living in Boston with a young baby/babies? We're relocating back to Boston soon which is fantastic because it's home to me, but I've never lived there with a baby. EEK. Any pearls of wisdom on how to make urban living with a baby easy-ish? Thanks!

What about a non-white baby elbow? There's nothing better than a "white" baby elbow? Babies do come in colors besides white, you know.

Great picks...love the colors, so nautical.

Anon... You are definitely taking that statement out of context, I meant white as in never seeing the sun, full of chub, with a big dimple in it, kind of elbow. I agree, all baby elbows are equally delicious and in fact a tan baby elbow may be even yummier, hence why I chose the picture of the model who was not "white." Thanks for your daily nitpick... I have missed you.

Samantha, Boston is the best for raising kids! While it's still an urban environment, it's is equally as child friendly. I'm not sure how old your kids are, but I would suggest joining Isis maternity right away, they offer great classes and you will immediately meet a bunch of moms that live in the city! The parks around here are great, especially around Cambridge and there is quite a lot to do in the winter. Aquarium, science and children's museums are a must!!! The downside is that there are not a lot of nursery schools so the competition is high, but they are really excellent and worth jumping though all the hoops. If you want to email me directly, I would be happy to chat about Boston all day long :) welcome back!

Ps don't be afraid to take the T or bike, sometimes this is the easiest way to get around, and I find the T to be great.. Even if it sometimes smells a little bit like pee ;)

Thank you so much for your response! I really appreciate it. I will join Isis Maternity right away. We're aiming to be back in Boston in August after our long trip home from New Zealand. Our one and only baby (so far) is yet to be born and will be roughly 4 weeks old on his/her first flight. Lucky us, huh? I'm fortunate that I know the T really well, so I won't be T-shy with a baby. I'll certainly drop you a line and get your pre-school input. I never really saw us as the "competitive school" people, but I suppose you have to be when you raise kids in an urban setting. Thanks a million!
