The Michelin Man.

Thursday, December 17, 2009

It is officially freezing here. Freezing. With the wind chill the temperature this morning was in the single digits, and it's only December. Crap, we are in for a long winter. Today when the little man and I left the house he bore a striking resemblance to the Michelin man.
Michelin Man

My Little Man.

What is he wearing exactly?
  • One pair of leggings.
  • A pair of corduroy pants.
  • A long sleeved shirt.
  • A sweater.
  • A fleece.
  • A down jacket.
  • Snow Boots.
  • A fleece blanket.
  • A stroller bag.
  • A hat.
  • Mittens.
Whew, it took us about 40 minutes to get all of that on and that was just for a coffee run and 15 minutes at the park. I can't even imagine how long it would have taken if I had two of them.

Note to self: move to a much warmer climate before we have the next baby(s).

It is sooo much easier here in the winter. I am so spoiled living in Fl all my life I get irritated for the couple months of the year that ice forms on my car's wind shield at night. LM looks so cute. You guys must get cabin fever my kids were stuck inside because of rain last Saturday and they were absolutely driving us crazy by bedtime.

Living in Australia, we don't have to ever rug-up like this unless we're on holidays at the snow resorts. Day to day dressing like this just doesn't happen. I'm with you ... imagine having to dress more than one like this and obviously no one toilet trains their children in the winter?
