That's Just How We Stroll.

Tomorrow at 8 am I am doing something that I haven't done in 8 and 2 1/2 years, respectively. Tomorrow I am going on a 3 day vacation WITHOUT my Husband or Son. Yep, it's time for a girl's weekend! (insert screaming and clapping here)

Tomorrow my three best girlfriends and I are leaving behind a combined total of 3 husbands and 7 kids as we head off on the ferry to Nantucket for their annual Christmas Holiday Stroll. Yes, that's just how we stroll. The boys will be left to fend for themselves while we are able to sneak in some much needed female bonding.

A family member has offered up her beach house for us and we have planned a weekend full of sleeping, shopping, eating, drinking, and relaxing. No boys or kids allowed! I think I am most excited about sleeping past 7:30am but the idea of having lunch without having to chase a two-year-old around the restaurant sounds pretty good as well. Throw in a little late night dancing, and let's just say I'm counting the minutes until we leave.

I promise to have plenty of pictures to share, unless or until this mum has one too many glasses of champagne, then all bets are off. If you're heading down there this weekend, make sure to look for us. We will be the ones without the kids, strollers, diaper bags, etc... and the ones with the giant smiles on our faces!
