What I Did All Day.

What did I do on our Fijian vacation? The short answer? Absolutely nothing (which is the whole point isn't it?) The long answer? Well.....

I did a little of this.

I drank a lot of these. Mai Tai = the perfect way to end the day.

I posed for quite a few of these.

Even the LM made a celebrity appearance on Dad's shirt.

I attended the famed Kava ceremony (more on this later.)

But mostly I did a whole lot of this.

9 books in 8 days... not too shabby.

And of course I had to get one of these overlooking the crystal blue water.

Okay, so I didn't exactly do "nothing" but it sure felt like it. In between sleeping and laying by the pool I was able to fit in some other activities. I paddled a lot, snorkeled a few hours a day, worked on my scuba certification, and attended every happy hour (duh.)

Yep, island life is pretty damn fabulous!

I bet it was great for your marriage being together as a couple in such a nice place...The LM will have a strong relationship with grandparents everyone wins.

That looks so beautiful! No wonder you have done nothing, everything overly active would have been taken you from absorbing the scenery.

You were right not to take LM. You look so relaxed and happy without him. And no way he would have had any fun. Was he happy to see you when you got home? You haven't mentioned your reunion with him yet.

Anon.... reunion story coming tomorrow. Still trying to work out the kinks. Not as easy as last year but we are slowly getting back on track, meaning I was able to get 2 feet away from him today instead of 6 inches. He was GREAT while we were gone. He even got sick and had no issues at all. I think all of the emotions hit him when we came home and after a 2 days of payback temper tantrums we are almost back to our old happy selves.

Lauren. Go! Do it now. It was the best trip we have ever taken, by far!

Jodi. You have no idea!!!!

It snowed here today...ugh reality is a bitch!
