Symptoms of Pregnancy:
  • Nausea
  • Fatigue
  • Sore Bubbies
  • Big Bubbies
  • Minor weight gain
  • Headache
  • Mild cramping
  • Increased appetite
  • Frequent urination
Symptoms of Clomid and Progesterone:
  • Nausea
  • Fatigue
  • Sore Bubbies
  • Big Bubbies
  • Minor weight gain
  • Headache
  • Mild cramping
  • Increased appetite
  • Frequent urination
To say that this can really mess with a girl's head would be quite the understatement. At this point I am experiencing all the above symptoms, especially the hunger and fatigue. Is it the drugs or a baby? We should know by the weekend. I really, really, really, really would like this to work this time. Really. Of course, you will be the first to know. Ok, maybe the second after all my friends and family.

Now I have to go and eat my second lunch and take a nap...let's hope it not just a "faker" in there!

Funny enough... Those are all the symptoms of PMS for me. Except for a headache. I never get headaches.

I am sure it will work this time. I never took progesterone when I did clomid though. What's it for?

It makes your uterus a very happy environment so the baby has a better chance of latching on. It's a gel, not a pill which is a total bummer/ inconvenience. I really hope this is the last cycle. Ugh.

I am crossing my fingers so hard for you that I just cut off the circulation! I really hope this is the one for you YM - I really do! Should I put on the Manolo's and cross my stylishly clad ankles too? Cos if it helps I will! x x

You're not going to get pregnant, "Yum." Face it, you are just a dried up crusty 30-something with a shriveled up old hag-womb about as fertile as the dusty reaches of the Sahara. The Clomid is a joke. Maybe if it was called "Make Yum ten years younger-id" it might help. Maybe cut your husband free so he can find someone else more adept at child bearing?

Actually, I'm not speechless...30 too old to have kids? In what universe. I thought the days of 18 year old raising babies were no longer the ideal. Too funny.

Anonymous is mean. WTF is that about? The RE told me that i had really good chance of success at 29-30 ish and you that you don't have to really worry until 35 about the eggs declining. I thought they only did progesterone after IVF embryo implantation? I guess it can't hurt but what a hassle.

Your right, its probably not the fact that you're 30. It's probably just you! Maybe God just doesn't think it wise to bless a vapid materialistic idiot with another child to F up beyond repair!

ahhhh yes, my poor child. I'm sure God is sadistic and really is out to "get" me. Thank you so much for your helpful and thoughtful insight. What would the world do without people like you?
