Let Them Eat Cake.

What do I love more than anything else in the world?

You may think it would be the little man, but you would be wrong, wrong, wrong. In truth, I, Yummy Mummy, would likely trade my first and only child for a giant cupcake. OK, I may have exaggerated a bit, I wouldn't necessarily trade the little guy, but I would definitely let them borrow him for a bit (or until my sugar coma wore off) for a killer cupcake. I am a self proclaimed cupcakeaholic and proud of it!

My favorite cupcakes on the planet? Well they would have to be the uber-delicious ones that are only available at the famed Boston institution Party Favors. I can still remember the day, hour, minute when I first tasted what only could be described as cupcake heaven. This is why I couldn't be more excited about today's giveaway!

The wonderful folks over at BuyWithMe are offering one of you lucky readers a coupon for a giant Party Favors cupcake. Let me tell you, when they say giant, they aren't kidding. This thing is massive. It feeds 8-10 (or 4 if I am invited) and really is the perfect novelty to have at any party or to celebrate for no reason at all.

If you haven't heard of BuyWithMe you seriously should check them out. They have amazing deals (steals) that are updated daily and the places that they represent are places you would be going anyway. I am so excited to work with them to bring you some more awesome giveaways in the future so keep checking there and here for some awesome goodies!

In honor of the little man's upcoming birthday (and subsequent party cancellation) let me know in the comments what your favorite birthday present was as a child. The winner will be chosen at random on Friday.

RT on Twitter for multiple entries, just make sure to mention @diaryyummymummy.

As Marie Antoinette said, "let them eat cake," or cupcake as is the case here!

Good Luck!

Samantha! My American Girl who looked JUST like me... Except I secretly wanted Molly so I could try and wear her glasses. But Samantha was way cuter. Yummy Mummy Cupcakes- i think that's a new business venture for you!

Easy Bake Oven! Easily the best toy of my generation. I'm sad to see it's been blacklisted by some of today's overprotective parents as too dangerous for kids who get burned by touching the hot part. How do kids learn common sense things these days?

Party Favors are THE best cupcakes around, so kudos on the giveaway!

What a great giveaway - I love cupcakes! My favorite gift was a Magic Nursery baby, the baby dolls where you couldn't tell if it was a boy or a girl until you dipped the diaper into water to reveal a birth certificate. Does anyone remember those?

It's a toss up between the Barbie Dream House and the Easy Bake Oven.

I hope I win - I've never had their cupcakes and I have lived in Boston/Cambridge for more than 15 years!

Since I am in Australia i dont think i could qualify for some cupcakes but boy do i love them. However i hope you dont mind me saying what my fav present was!! I was given a paink salor suit. It had a bib thing at the front and i remember i used to use it to wipe food of my mouth. God if i saw my daughter do that with her clothes she would be going straight to the corner

Not sure if this counts as a present, but the best was my "make your own pizza" party at papa ginos! So lame, but I still remember working hard to make that pizza perfect. Come to think of it, it was my first time cooking so I guess the "present" was the gift of cooking! One of my passions to date!

I am going to totally date myself here. My favorite gift/toy was a Farah Fawcett head, like the Barbie ones they have now. You could do her hair and it came with bright red lipstick and matte light blue cream eyeshadow.

Party Favors has THE BEST cakes ever!

I don't want to be in the cupcake running, but my favorite toy was courtesy of Santa: a Bugs Bunny portable radio. I think it was powered by 8 D-cell batteries, but it had a working microphone shaped like a carrot. Totally cool.

Sadly, I didn't grow up with older sisters but instead two of the best brothers in the world. So when they got me a wiffle ball and bat, it was the best thing I could have asked for. It wasn't just a ball and a bat, it was them admitting that maybe having a younger sister wasn't so bad, and that I was actually welcome to play with them.

Still have the bat and ball, believe it or not.

What a sweet idea! (no pun intended)

My favorite birthday present was a Totally Hair Barbie. It was one of the most controversial presents ever, because the product ENCOURAGED you to cut Barbie's hair and even came with a pair of scissors to have at it. And... well... let's just say that mom didn't quite approve of a mohawked barbie when I was 7. :)

The Barbie Corvette definitely!

Party Favors is the best. Ate many cupcakes there, especially when I was pregnant. All of my kids birthday cakes are ordered from there!
