Sure I love my camera (did I say LOVE?) but I have to admit my best Mirthday (Mother's Day + Birthday) present came courtesy of my Little Man. He made this in school for me and surprised me with it on the big day. I don't know what I love more, the poem or those itty bitty handprints...luckily I don't have to decide. This is definitely one frame-worthy treasure!
The poem reads:
Sometimes you get discouraged
because I am so small
and always leave my fingerprints
on furniture and walls
Everyday I'm growing--
I'll be grown someday
and all those tiny handprints
will surely fade away
So here's a little handprint
just so you can recall
exactly how my fingerprints looked
when I was very small.
Editors note: I melt.
A happy delayed Mother's day to all of you Mommas out there!
P.S.
For all you Dads out there, this one can easily be re-created for mom next year! Just helping you boys out ;)!

Awww! I have this exact same item with Nick's tiny hand prints. I'll never part with it. Some day you'll look back and wonder at how tiny he was.
Now THIS is why kids are (I guess) cool to have instead of dogs. My dogs would never be able to pull that off :) SO CUTE!
