Happy Friday!

With only three full days left in the jungle, I have now reached the point where I am in in absolute bliss one minute, and the next I'm thinking that if I have to spend another second with my children, I might have to jump in the ocean and not return. You know, your usual vacation with little kids in tow ;)

I wish you all a wonderful (warm) weekend!

So I just showed my family this because it comes through my email as well and they said it reminds them of the Nirvana Nevermind CD cover!

This is probably a somewhat silly question - but, how old is Gray? And how often do you have him in a pool/water that he looks so comfortable underwater!?
I am struggling through swimming lessons for my 4 year old! Any thoughts on the topic would be welcome and appreciated!

You all know about my Kurt Cobain obsession, so thank you!

Anon, gray is two and a half. Both my kids were super comfortable around water at an early age but I think it has more to do with the water temp, than anything we have done! The pool where we rent in costa is practically bath water, so they don't have to worry about the cold, along with the fear. We are also super wild with them in the pool, basically letting them jump in and throwing them high and letting them sink under before grabbing them, and I've found that makes them comfortable the fastest. Very quickly they realize that you will grab them if they go under, so they aren't so scared. That being said, we always have to worry about them being too comfortable, and not walking in to the deep end when we aren't there. With the LM. And soon Gray we started swimming lessons at 2.5 and by 3ish he was swimming by himself. It was mostly for our sanity, but it's a great skill to have. Also, goggles!!!! One we introduced the goggles, both kids were much more willing to go under! Hope this helps!
