Hello and Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my new and improved site!  For those of you doing a second take, yes it's still me Robin, aka Diary of a Yummy Mummy and you are definitely in the right place!

After almost 7 years of blogging (!!!) I felt like it was time for this space to better reflect where I am at this point in my life, and as much as I loved being Yummy Mummy the truth is most days I felt a lot more mummy, than yummy.  I started this blog on a whim in 2008, as a way to stay connected to my friends and family members after the birth of our little man, and at the time I had no idea where this online journey would take me.  Here I am, no longer the mother to an infant, but rather the mother of two big boys, and even though it's been temping to walk away over the years, I just can't quit this space (said in a Brokeback Mountain voice.)  Everything will stay business as usual around here, and I even have a few fun projects in the pipeline that I'll be sharing in the new few months! This new redesign signifies my renewed commitment to this blog, and I'm looking forward to sharing more of our life over the coming years.

I wanted to thank all of you for reading over the years, and for your continued support and comments.  I'm really excited about this next chapter and hope you will continue to follow along!

Woooahhhhh! Love the redesign!! Love what you have written too; it's all a journey and no one really knows where it will take us when we first hit the 'publish' button. For what it's worth, the blog names we have can pigeon-hole us (I for one think this and toy with changing the name all the time). Like the new photos too...all good. well done you! Lou x

I love this! Can't wait to read more. As a long-time follower, I am wondering if you have any thoughts on making a tab for recipes? I used to find the best, quick but elegant weeknight dinner & salad recipes on your blog. I was so surprised at how manageable they were, even though I am busy. Will you archive them in any way, or, better yet, keep posting these?

Thanks and congrats on the awesome evolution of DoYM! :)

Thank you both so much for your support and sweet comments! I absolutely want to get some tabs going for interiors, fashion, food and drink... I'll definitely work with my designer to make that happen! Also, I'm so happy to hear you find the recipes useful! I really only post things that we have tried and loved, and will definitely do more!

Thanks again!
