I Just Can't Help Myself.

Wednesday, August 4, 2010

Okay, okay, I know I am supposed to stop designing nurseries in my head (and on my computer) until we are secure in the fact that baby number two is on the way, but I have one very serious problem with this concept... no matter how hard I try I just can't help myself. I don't know if it's the empty white room that I stare at every day, or the fact that my little man is now a big man and most of his nursery furniture is ready to be put to other use, or if it's the fact that I have now been trying for over two years to get a bun in this oven, or possibly it's a combination of all of the above,  but no matter how hard I try to stop I JUST CAN'T HELP MYSELF.  I figured since I stare at these "mood boards" at least once a day I might as well share them with all of you.

This is my dream nursery if we are blessed with another boy.

And this one if we get a baby girl.

I'm starting to think that designing nurseries is like crack for me, I know it's wrong but it just feels sooooooooooooo good.*

Who knew home decor could be so therapeutic??

*This is of course being said never having tried crack... I'm just assuming here!

LB if we get one of each we would only have one choice..... move!!!

JQ... I'm right there with you. The only reason my kids rooms get so tricked out is because that's the only room my hubby gives me full reign on! So I make my dream room theirs!

Jodi... I have nothing against pink, I just don't want to look at it every day from my living room. I don't know why but for girls I've always been drawn to a more muted room. I'll leave the pink for the wardrobe :)
