After a ridiculously fun filled weekend, we all are trying to catch up on some sleep. Dare I tell you that everyone in our house was in bed by 8:30 last night? Man, did that feel good. This week, the hubby and I have more... and more... and more independent school interviews for the LM. I hate to say it, but I really am enjoying seeing inside some of these institutions. Most are bigger (and better) than the college I went to, so there is no question that the LM will get a great education.Yet, it's hard not to get attached to ALL of them, just in case we don't get in. Right now we are leaning towards a same sex education, but in the spring it will really come down to where there are open spots. So, it continues...

Here is a little bit of what we were up to last week.

(trying out all the furniture at Ikea)

(new fish from the fair.... gray is obsessed)

(Oysters!!!)

Mondays always come too soon, don't they?

What happened to sending them to public school? Thought that was your plan?

When considering all of our options, last year we decided to pursue independent schools in the area, because we wanted the LM to be an "older 5" in kindergarten, and we did not feel comfortable with our town's lottery system. After months of thought and discussion, we decided that this was the route we wanted to go. Now, that we've seen some of the all boys schools and other mixed gender ones, in the area, we are even more confident in this choice.
