Happy Thoughts.

Thursday, April 2, 2009

It's pretty hard to ignore what is going on in the "comment section" of yesterday's blog.

1) I had no idea that someone out there disliked me that much. 2) I had no idea that the working vs stay at home mom debate was still such an issue. 3) I refuse to spend anymore energy on something I can't control (new year's resolution #1)

That being said I thought I would send out a picture that makes me smile. Last night the little man insisted that all his "friends" sit next to him. I laugh because he just looks so little!

LOVE it (and you - hugs). I love how the sippy cup is the last in line...ps aren't they the bestest sippy cups? We have them too - teaches her to use a straw, not leak, and Sadie's fave thing is to "open...close...open...close".

Now, this is what it's all about. Certainly not that ridiculous drivel below!

Hope your day improves!

PS - I love your toss pillows. Are they from PB?

Love it! That is the CUTEST picture of LM! I bet he's a little ham. He just has that look. My son likes to do the same thing and he sleeps with them all. He calls them "the guys".

-A nice anonymous :)

YM, so sorry to read thru those comments on your last post. You don't deserve that at all.

Keep posting, don't let anyone put you off.

The photo of LM is really cute. x

Yum, I am the anon soon to be mom with the sister's wedding fashion mission. I thought it was so sweet of you to respond so quickly to me weeks ago, and to remember me in your tweet amidst your travels, medical things, etc. You are clearly a sweet and thoughtful person, and don't deserve all the vitriol that was thrown your way yesterday.

I will never understand why people would spend time reading something that gets them so angry. If you don't like it, go elsewhere! Hateful lurking has to be bad for your health. And from someone who knows you, well, that is just frightening. Restraining order, anyone? I am so sorry you had to deal with all of that.

I am a few days away from having my first son, and love reading your blog. It gives me lots to look forward too with my LM, even though I will be someone returning to work. We all don't have to make the same choices in life! Anyway, ignore the haters and do what you do! I think you are fabulous.

Sorry about the nasty comments. Just remember that most people you know personally and/or through your journal care for you and don't agree with what written in the previous post. Be happy. All the best. Ciao. A.
PS LM rocks!
