What a Girl Won't Do For a Good Cup of Coffee.

Monday, January 12, 2009

This weekend it snowed. Again. That now makes for more than 30+ inches since December. I know what you are thinking, Duh Yum you live in New England. Yes, yes I do, but this is a lot even for us. It's an exceptional amount for a former Southern California girl. Such is the price we pay for the best Summers in the Country I suppose.

Snow or no snow a girl has got to get her coffee. Especially on days where she may have had one too many glasses of Champagne the night before. Luckily, the husband was home to do the heavy lifting and we headed out to our local Starbucks.

Here are the boys getting all bundled up.

This is what our front "yard" looked like. You will be happy to know we park in a garage so thank God none of those cars are mine.

The little man was enjoying the view.

He looks so little next to his Daddy.

We finally made it! Grande Soy Latte please!

Well worth the trip!

Of course it is easy for me to say as I wasn't the one with 32lbs on my back. Believe me I have done my fair share with that bad boy, and I have the aching back to prove it.

Hope you all had a warm and relaxing weekend!

Just came across this on one of my other daily blog reads and thought it might be of interest to you: http://www.hostessblog.com/2009/01/hip-hostess-series-boston-jan-15th/

OK, so I know it has nothing to do with this post and you are potentially the only person I know of who lives in Boston right now, but there ya go.

You are not kidding that we have the best summers of anywhere. Glad to see that even a California girl is a believer! Now, if we could just extend summers by a month or two...

So cute! We used to have something like that for my son but my husband always refused to carry (both) on his shoulders and it was too heavy for me, so we ended up giving it away. My daughter was so little that I could carry her in my "kangaroo pouch" for quite a long time and then she started walking...Keep warm! Ciao. Antonella
